The Model OMA-AVDS-4 industrial automatic dialer is the perfect solution for alarm and supervision reporting, serving as a reliable watchdog over site conditions when you canÆt be there. Featuring non-volatile speech recording, the OMA-AVDS-4 lets you record emergency and identification messages using your own voice. The unit can monitor the bell output of your alarm panel or dry contact and, when an alarm condition occurs, automatically call up to eight phone numbers and deliver your emergency voice message or send a digital message to your numeric pager. Call progress tone detection provides reliability and efficiency. The user sets all options and communication parameters with a standard touch-tone telephone.
FAST NOTIFICATION OF ALARM CONDITIONS
The OMA-AVDS-4 is equipped with an on-board
microphone, speaker, and keypad everything needed
to program the right message for each of the four
available channels. And, you can set the calling
sequence so the people best able to take appropriate
action are called first. The built-in Call Progress feature
saves time by recognizing a busy signal, an off-hook
signal, or repetitive ringing (no answer). The unit skips
immediately to the next number, thus wasting no time in
transmitting the urgent message. The dialer also lets
you send a message to a digital pager, alone or in
combination with a voice message. If the called party is
not available to acknowledge the verbal alarm
message, the dialer can call the personÆs digital pager.
This feature ensures the message is received anytime,
anywhere.
RUGGED DESIGN FOR HARSH LOCATIONS
The OMA-AVDS-4 automatic dialer is housed in a dust-tight,
high-impact, corrosion-resistant thermoplastic
NEMA-12 enclosure. With the internal battery charger
and battery backup, the unit will stay fully operational
for 12 hours if the main power source is down. Even if
the power outage lasts longer than 12 hours, the dialer
will not lose its programming or its voice recordings and
will be ready and fully operational when the main power
source returns.
EASY TO USE
The front operator panel permits easy access to the
unitÆs many programming features. The complete
membrane keypad allows the installer and user to
program the operation sequence, pager messages, and
voice message. A full array of LEDs indicate the status
and the alarm states of all four inputs.
